Sessions with Maya are more than just a place to vent your frustrations about each other. She will provide a safe, structured format to learn specific skills. Maya will provide practical tools that you can begin to put into practice the minute you step outside her office. These tools help remove the blame, shame and criticism common in negative relationship patterns. Many couples say that learning these skills gave them the first glimmer of hope in their ability to create a better relationship.

How long are the sessions?

Couples visit Maya in a variety of stages in their relationships.  Her focus is to help couples achieve a relationship based in mature love where each partner feels heard, understood and loved. How long these takes depends on each couple’s commitment and discovery.

How long do I need to commit?

How many sessions it takes to fully understand and explore these issues is different, everyone has their own journey. Sessions with Maya are typically scheduled once a week and an appropriate commitment is established during the first session. The commitment timeline is largely dependent on the purpose, or goal, of your sessions.

Some may need only a few sessions, while others need and want to explore deeper issues which takes longer. Maya will discuss all options with you from a place of safety and trust.
