The Getting the Love You Want workshops will provide the safety needed to fully focus on your partner, yourself and your relationship.

You will laugh, cry, ...laugh again, connect and discover a new way to communicate and a new way to love.

Maya is a master of creating a safe environment for everyone to look honestly at themselves and others and learn how to take their own next steps in healing and growth.

Maya and Barbara will guide through a weekend of transformation.

Q: We are often asked why we don't offer a "come one, come all" workshop.

A: Many from the LGBTQIA community continually encourage us to offer a LGBTQIA only workshop to maintain safety, so we do. The LGBTQIA couples are always welcome at either one.

The workshops gives supportive skills to understand and cope with not only the typical challenges of a relationship. The workshop helps dissolve isolation and creates a community of belonging and connection. Teaching them the Imago model is like offering these castaways the tools they need to build a paradise of connection.

The basis for this workshop rises out of the Imago Theory developed by Drs. Harville Hendrix and Helen LaKelly Hunt. It is comparable to 3 to 6 months of weekly therapy sessions in cognitive and experiential learning. It has been utilized by thousands of couples in twenty countries and is now available on 5 continents. It is not a quick fix. It is a realistic understanding of the path to a safe and passionate marriage or partnership, a roadmap of the journey, and the tools needed to get you there.

The workshop format includes:

Mini conversations about the purpose and dynamics of your relationship.
Individual reflection and writing using the "Getting the Love You Want" Couples' Manual.
Demonstrations of communication skills.
Practicing new behaviors and skills with your partner. While this workshop is conducted in a group environment you are not required to participate in personal group interaction. You share only with your partner in a safe, comfortable and confidential manner
